The Rev. Christopher Wilkerson graduated from the School of Theology, University of the South, Sewanee TN in 2017, was ordained a Deacon in June of that year, and ordained a Priest in February, 2018. His pastoral focus at Holy Trinity is Young Adult and Family Ministries.
Christopher holds a BS in Anthropology from Georgia Southern University and an MFA in English and Creative Writing from Southern Illinois University. Prior to attending Seminary he taught English at Spartanburg Community College.
A lifelong Episcopalian, Christopher is also a guitarist and songwriter who loves science fiction, poetry, theatre, and pop-culture (“I enjoy Hamlet and The Simpsons in about equal measure.”) He is married to Anne, a board-certified music therapist specializing in end-of-life care and bereavement, and a talented musician as well. They have two daughters, Emily (6) and Elena (4).
