Meet the Staff

	The Reverend John Nieman is the Rector and Headmaster of the Episcopal Day School.
	Suzanne Watkins is the Director of the Episcopal Day School. She went to the Day School as a child, as well as Holy Trinity Episcopal Church. She attended Winthrop University and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education. She worked several summers at Camp WaBak of the Old 96 Girl Scout Council, where she served as the Assistant Director. Suzanne taught a First Steps Pilot Program Four-Year-Old Kindergarten class for three years. She has also completed many hours of training on the “Early Childhood Environment Rating Scale,” which is used nationwide as an evaluation system to determine program effectiveness.
	Suzette Andrus is the 5-Day Yellow Bird teacher and our music teacher.
	Cecile Gilles is the 5-Day Yellow Bird assistant. She joins us from Haiti.
	Jean Jerolamon is the 2-Day Blue Bird and 3-Day Yellow Bird teacher.
	Frances Gilles is the 2-Day Blue Bird and the 3-Day Yellow Bird assistant. She also teaches French. Frances joins us from Haiti.
	Martina Hughes is the Red Bird Kindergarten teacher. She has worked at the Day School for several years. Previously she worked at the Clemson Montessori School and taught kindergarten in Germany. She also teaches German at the Day School.
	Danielle Williams is the Red Bird Kindergarten assistant.
	Char McNeil teaches the 2-Day Blue J and 3-Day Blue Bird class. She has worked for the Day School for several years, joining us after having one of her own children enrolled in the Day School.
	Kathy Nash is the 2-Day Blue J and the 3-Day Blue Bird assistant
	Gini Duncan is the Creative Movement Teacher and a Substitute Teacher for the Day School
