Bois JoliOur current project is to continue support for the village of Bois Joli in Haiti. Bois Joli is one of 11 communities served by the parish church and school in Cange. Bois Joli is difficult to get to because there are no roads leading to it. To get to school in Cange from Bois Joli, students had to hike over 4 hours through the mountains. Consequently, many children did not attend school beyond the fourth grade. In the fall of 2004, Four churches in the Clemson/Anderson-- Grace Episcopal, Holy Trinity Episcopal, Holy Trinity Lutheran, and St. John’s Methodist, adopted the community of Bois Joli, Haiti and funded the building of a 6 room school for students grades K through 5th grade in Bois Joli. The school now has 6 teachers and over 400 students. The next project we would like to undertake for the village of Bois Joli is the building of a church/community center and the development of an agricultural center to grow their own food. We will need to raise approximately $60,000.00 for this project. If you would like to see
