Outreach Ministries
Holy Trinity focuses most of its local outreach efforts on projects of
Clemson Area Congregations in Touch (CACIT). CACIT is an ecumenical,community-based mission
organization of Clemson-area churches.
Some of the local ministries
Holy Trinity supports are as follows:
- Clemson Child Development
Center (CCDC)—a high-quality early childhood education
facility for low-income families;
- Clemson Community
Care (CCC)—a food pantry;
- Clemson Free Clinic—medicine
and medical care for people in need; A member of Holy Trinity

- Community Blood
Drives—sponsored by the member churches of CCIT
and held monthly, twice a year at Holy Trinity; Contact Mary Martof.
- Safe Harbor II—a
shelter for women and children fleeing abusive relationships;
- CROP Walk—an annual community walk to raise money for CCC;
- Kairos Cookie Ministry—a
nationwide, ecumenical prison ministry that began 25 years ago.
Twice a year, volunteers from Holy Trinity and University Lutheran
churches hold an all-day cookie bake and then box and send more
than 350 dozen cookies for delivery by Kairos ministers to prisoners
at Leath Correctional Institution.
