Rebecca Bowman

Rebecca Bowman is currently in her 14th year of service as choir director. Prior to joining the staff at Holy Trinity, she served as interim director of music at First Baptist, Clemson. Rebecca retired in 2015 from the School District of Pickens County after 34 years as a choral director. She earned her undergraduate degree in music education at Southern Wesleyan University. Currently at SWU, she works as an administrative assistant for the Division of Religion, as well as teaches private piano in her studio on campus. Rebecca lives in Central with her two dogs, Koji and Bella. She enjoys spending time with her two precious grandchildren, Saharra 9 and Traeson 1. She and her family enjoy time away at the beach, which will always be their “happy place.” When we sing, we glorify God. The Psalms have so much to say about singing, and here’s one of her favorites: “I will sing to the Lord all my life: I will sing to praise to my God as long as I live.” (Psalm 104:33)
