Epiphany Celebration on Friday, Jan. 6, at 6 pm

EPIPHANY CELEBRATION! We will celebrate the Feast of the Epiphany with Holy Eucharist on Friday, January 6, at 6:00 pm, followed by a Festive Wine & Cheese Party in the Parish Hall. (We’ll have yummies for the kids, too!)

Come and join us for this remembrance of one of the Church’s Principal Feasts. The Feast of the Epiphany is even older than Christmas and presents us with a rich array of themes. The Baptism of Jesus, his first miracle at the wedding at Cana, and the wondrous star that led the Magi to Bethlehem are three miracles that draw us into the story of God in humanity made manifest. These three “epiphanies” do more than bring the Christmas Season to a close–they lead us further into the realization of the meaning Incarnation as we recount the stories of the teacher, healer, miracle worker we know as Jesus.
