Daniel Paul Richards was serves as the ninth bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Upper South Carolina, elected to the position in September, 2021. Born in Mississippi, Richards’ family moved to Arizona when he was a teenager. He was previously the Rector of Christ Church of the Ascension, Paradise Valley, Arizona, before becoming our Bishop.
